Apple Sauce

Apple Sauce

My kids love this sauce. 

They will eat any meat with a few spoonfuls of apple sauce. Mix it with some plain yogurt for breakfast. Anyway. Anyhow. There is no need to add sugar apple are sweet enough. I enjoy a few tablespoons, especially with roast pork.

INGREDIENTS

2 green apples, chopped

1/4 cup of water


METHOD

Chop the apples into 1 cm cubes with skins on. 

Place in a microwave-proof bowl with lid, add water.

Cook on high for 6 minutes.

Place in blender and blend for a good few minutes until skins are well blended.

Serve hot or cold.
